The Adicts came from Ipswich on the east coast of England, dressed in white in an amalgam of The Joker and Clockwork Orange imagery. They made a big impact in the UK, entering the national charts with their single on Sire Records - who insisted they change their name to ADX (or The Fun Adicts when on Children's TV!) With catchy, glam-punk singalong tunes and theatrical shows, The Adicts continue to grow their audience and regularly tour the USA, UK and Europe.

Live in Anvers is the last album Alex Chilton released under his own name during his lifetime. He had recently taught himself how to transcribe music and for the album he wrote out charts for a number of songs, some hed written, like In the Street from his Big Star days and Bangkok from his run in the late 70s New York punk scene. An obsessive crate digger, especially of southern soul music, Alex unearthed and transcribed the music for Claim to Fame: an obscure Frederick Knight track as well as things made popular by Sam and Dave and Ernie K Doe. Live In Anvers was recorded for a music festival in Belgium with a band he had just met, reading the charts he had just written, another classic off the cuff fly by the seat of your pants performance by one of Americas greatest music makers.Intro, Ah Ti Ta Ti Ta Ta (Ernie K-Doe), Song Intro, In The Street, Song Intro, 634-5789, Hook Me Up, Il Rebelle, Song Intro, Bangkok, Claim to Fame, Sick & Tired, It's Too Late To Turn Back Now
This is a very mature record from one of the very best prog-rock vocalist. John Elefante was the vocalist for Kansas and performed keyboards on Kansas albums Vinyl Confessions and Drastic Measures. He would go on to be a much sought after record producer helping dominate the charts with many bands/artist as well as his own chart topping band Mastedon, which also featured former Kansas alumni Kerry Livgren on the album "3". Now John is releasing his solo album The Amazing Grace which is sure to please his diehard Kansas fans with tracks like "Won't Fade Away" and the first single "Stronger Now". It's no surprise that Johns' new album offers many different styles. Take The Amazing Grace which is reminiscent of TOTO or THE BEATLES-like Stronger Now.
Demon Records are delighted to announce the release of Haircut 100% Live! Hammersmith Odeon Spring 1982 for Record Store Day 2023, released with full co-operation of the band. Haircut 100% Live! Hammersmith Odeon Spring 1982 is an in-concert album that highlights the group at the summit of their powers high speed funk, to-die for pop and sweet melodies against the backdrop of Haircutmania. No overdubs and the high-octane energy of youth. The group moved from being London underground darlings to chart sensations in less than six months, and within a year had disappeared into pops ether, leaving behind one memorable album and four Top 10 UK singles, but many have said that the real way to experience the power of the Haircuts was to see them play live.
