Quick Trip To Seaside Oregon

We stayed at Thousand Trails Seaside this weekend. Wonderful site with friendly neighbors, said they were Clark & Ellen Griswold! (They have upgraded their rig since the National Lampoon days).

We walked to Seaside for a bite to eat and some brews. Stopped at Seaside Brewing for lunch where we shared an awesome brisket sandwich with smoked jojos. Mike had a pint of Seaside Brewing Knautical Kölsch, he's gives it 5 stars. Crisp clean taste with slightly malty finish & the head hung on all the way to the end of the beer. Miki tried the Huckleberry Lemonade which was pretty tasty.

Next we walked up the main drag to the ocean. We've been there done that but always enjoy the view. Weather was exceptionally nice for mid-October and the beaches were not full of people.

One more stop before headed back to the campground for the evening. The Whet Spot Taproom & Bottle Shop.

We highly recommend stopping by for a beer, cider or nice glass of wine. We enjoyed talking to owners Rick and Barbara. They just bought the place in August of this year and it's doing well inspite the 2020 Pandemic. We highly recommend stopping by for a drink and visiting with Daisy their dog. They have a great selection of various beers, ciders & wines to choose from. Bottles, growler fills and by the glass.
